Apple….

Lately i have been thinking a lot abt Apple…..why??? whts thr that is pulling me. Is it the sheer class of Steve Jobs that makes it Different as they say or is it just another very good looking product.I am very much in Love with the Mac Book Pro.In my opinion anyone using a computer would be able to use it.

I came across the mac book for the first time in nid. I had heard abt it before but never seen one before not even on the Apple website(which i never visited). It was very fascinating to see very different applications in mac (I have a Dell which is ofcourse quiet good).The best part was trying to immitate mac applications in dell.I was successful to an extent but not everything original can be replicated. And the best part now is that Mac has a built in Apache Web server which is regarded as the most popular web server available today. With its incredible portability and support for anything you’d ever want to do, Apple wisely decided to ship Apache with its Unix-based operating system. With this web-serving powerhouse at your fingertips, you can impress your boss and solidify your love for Mac OS X, all at the same time.

I miss my job…

I started my career with the Industrial Design Centre,IDC,IIT Bombay.I was working as a Junior Design Engineer.The product base was lot bigger than what I had imagined.After completing 1 yr. I joined a Design Consultancy,Desmania Design Pvt.Ltd and continued there for the next 2 yr. till i joined NID in june’07.

It was just another job in Desmania Design but it was a little different.The variety of projects b’coz of which u dont get bored,the freedom u get to express and xplore and the casual ambience makes u work better.I had the oppurtunity to work on almost all the projects after i joined some of which hit the market and some were in the process when i left.In that period i got to work on a few onsite projects which was an another experience in itself.Getting to know how different companies work was a good thing.The other good thing was seeing the team grow every yr coz when i joined the Mumbai office thr were arnd 4 members working and when i left the team had grown to approx.15 members.

Its been a yr now since i left my job. Anyways its good to be a student again.

It often happens that you have to wait for what you desired for. Barclays Premier League is one such event which is worth waiting for. The intensity, the aura and particularly the kind of game is truly an experience. Since the transfer vault is still open, its interesting to see some reshuffling happening and also some new players on the block. The expectations are high as well as the excitement with the Premier League starting from 16th Aug’2008. My personal favourite are the Red Devils who are the current champions.
